Happy New Year 2013

It's the new day for the year of 2013. Happy New Year!

Reflecting back the year 2012, it has been a hectic year for me as myself and Sarah finally ended our courtship and tied the knot, registered in the month of Oct 2012 and Chinese ceremony in Nov 2012. Now has been busy with our new house, our ongoing project for the coming month or two.

Well, looking forward to a better year, while reflecting and remembering my happy moments in the year 2012 :-)

Nanny 911

Not sure how many of you watch this series of Nanny 911. This is not the series long ago, named The Nanny. It is a story on how the family is falling apart with their kids getting out of control. Either being very naughty or rude towards their parents. The weird thing is that the parents were so helpless and did not enforce any discipline in the family. How come parents with the background of police or army personnel also fail to implement some discipline or at least some sense of respect in the family.

Gosh, once saw it really make me think... how useless the parents are. I understand that parents do love and care for the children, but there must be mutual respect and discipline should be taught even from tender age.

For those that have not seen this series, do enlighten yourself with the series.

P/s: I think i will not be like so, if i really do, probably i need to be strong to deter all those, else... ALL HELL BREAK LOSE...

Back in the year 2010

It has been a while since i have blogged. Why? It was since November 2009, whereby i was busy preparing for my last days in Halliburton for my closure there and also busy preparing myself for my upcoming job, new place new environment and surely new challenge. I am much anxious as the new project is already coming in, perhaps i have been dormant for about 2 years, doing less challenging stuff over the period of my stay in Halliburton (no offence anyone...)

As the new year, 2010 coming closer i was chilling out and relaxing myself. By mid January 2010, it was already my last day. It is good for me as i can spend some time to rest myself (physically and mentally) before my new job begin. But eventually not much rest was possible as Sarah was moving house, CNY clean up, planning for the new project over at new office and etc. With all that, not much regret as things went fine and great.

Looking at the calendar now, it is already March 2010. Let the remaining Q1 be better before heading to the Q2 for even busier life :-) Lets all be happy in life and i would try to blog more when i get my hands on my new laptop (still awaiting for it until mid March 10)...

So near yet so far

I am still about 5 hours from KL city or known as home. Curretnly now awaiting for my transit flight from KK to KL at about 3:30pm. Had some lunch, now waiting for time to past and also converting a concert for my Nokia 5800, so that i can have some in-flight entertaintment later for the duration of 2hrs 25min.

Been so long i travel offshore this time, normally was just at most about 2 weeks, this trip is nearing one whole hitch for those other offshore guys whereby they normally do 28 days and in this trip, i clock in 25 days myself. During this duration of 25 days, i was on standby, merely with things to do and daily was just awaiting for time to past and the next day to come. I feel pretty much dumb for being needed to standby and those eyes of others who are there. They kind of looking down on us for doing nothing there, just eat and sleep for long duration, but do they know what we or i would say myself not that kind of person to get money just like that? I am not, and i dont enjoy that kind of life, but i have no choice to start with, so there i was for 25 days!

Now, when i get back i hope to get some rest and also spend time with family while awaiting for the photo shoot in the coming month where i hope i would be further practise my skills and also do some nice shots for some lovely couple :-)

Kay Elle, wait for me i am rushing back ASAP...

Waiting...still waiting...

Every morning i wake up with a similar thought in my head; when can i go back? This thought has been running for the past 1 week already. This is because i was originally supposingly to stay for like 2 weeks, but now already the 3rd week and going towards the 4th week and i am still stuck here, not knowing when will be my turn to leave the rig. This feeling, is not what i can endure for much longer. So much stress in waiting for something to happen and i can do shit about it. All i can is to wait for someone else to settle their shit, so that i can go. What kind of nonsense is this. Sigh... Hope my dreams will come true soon, to be able to go and back to my hometown, KL as soon as possible. Guess i am home sick already... on top of nothing to do for the past 3 weeks plus!

18++

Since 2 Nov 09 to date has been like 18 days that i am here in hte middle of the ocean. Still floating on good weather and also on bad weather, just having one aim which is to be around until they finish drilling this well. To ask me when can complete, i have got no firm answer as i ran out of answers to myself, all i am doing now is go with the flow. Why? Cause it is kind of dissapointing to me and those who wants me back in town by giving them false hope. So rather not giving false hope, i better not give any definite answer as well. Just hope to be back to town asap, as there are lots that i need to do before year end, some of it would be consider life changing decisions...

Change...

As always, change is inevitable in life. In fact i am now looking for some changes in my life as well, perhaps been in this comfort zone too much already and has felt the boredom of it already, just too lazy to move away. Looking forward to better opportunity and also chance to bloom, rather than sulking and not acting over it time after time.
