D' Dinner Day - 21 July 07
As i volounteer myself to be one of the volounteers for the Reception for my office Annual Dinner at KLCC Convention Center (21-07-07), i have to be there early as requested. We, the volounteers were supposed to be there by 5pm for a quick rehearsal before the real thing starts.
I picked up Sarah from her house as usual and headed down to the KLCC Convention Center. Not sure where the parking for the Convention Center exactly, hence i called up EeVern to ask for directions. Manage to reach the place on time, despite the uncooperative weather. Parked at a nice spot, considered a nice spot but things may be so dissapointing eventually. Will tell more later in this entry. Opps, forget to mention that i parked my car at about 15 minutes to 5pm.
Since we were early, we sat in the car and had some chat while listening to some music. Didn't want to go in too early and start doing things before the time comes. I sms to Sok Chin to ask if she had reach the venue, 15 minutes were her answer.
When the clock turns 5pm, we decided to proceed to the venue, where at the Ballroom 1 and 2. Once i jump into the lift, i was lifted up to the 3rd floor, where the ballroom were. Impressive i could say. Snap some photos here and there, she and he and etc. Will show more photos later as some of the photos is still being edited for better view.
It was an enjoyable event, had a great time. Also had the opprotunity to see most people to wear smart and not the same old faithful t-shirt and jeans as how we see them at most of the time. Had the last opportunity to snap some photos with some of the interns that we have throughtout the past 8 months. It was sweet having them here, despite some attitude problems. Regardless of that, they are okay i guess.
After the dinner, saw some auctioning of painting for a good cause. Ended the day with a comedian show for our laughter. About the lucky draw, i was not that lucky on that night, guess i was lucky already :)
After leaving the ballroom, proceed outside to shoot a lot more photos with our team members. Will share out soon. Then departed the Convention Center after paying RM17 for the carpark for the lousy place that they have. They were maintaining the fire sprinkler system and somehow some weird thing or substance drip to my back windscreen and created a patch on it. Gosh. Send Sarah home and then i went for a car wash to get rid of the spot on my back mirror. Car wash at that time? Who was going to do it if not myself? Haha. After an hour of intense scrubbing, manage to get 99% of it away, jsut 1% which were so stuborn that i decided to give up as it is turning late already and i need to wake up early tomorrow for my outdoor activity which need me to have sufficient rest.

Shopping spree - Annual Dinner 2007
It has been a long week, indeed it started from last week when me and Sarah started hunting for our dress code for the upcoming Annual Dinner 2007 for Shell IT International. The hunt was long and winding as we were choosy ourselves. We hope to find something that we love wearing and that it could potray the best of us.
I was choosy indeed, for a guy. Thought will do away with the shopping and just wear the blazzer that i have bought previously. But i was so attracted to the casual blazzer at Soda and decided to start my hunt for it as my journey to the Soda gave me the hope yet at the same time presented to me the biggest dissapointment which was due to NO SIZE for me. All i ask for is a size 'S' but they only have size 'M' and 'L' which is not suitable for my delicated body.
My hunt continues to find the ultimate replacement for the Soda blazzer. Guess you won't believe this, i even ended up at Genting, hoping to find my dream casual blazzer there since Genting have a colder climate hence to have those kind of blazzer is quite common. But my journey up to the hill for the blazzer ended up with dissapointment too.
Few days later, got the chance to walk about in MidValley with Sarah, as she is still looking for some clothing to wear, as undecisive as me. I so happen walked in to G2000 blu and there i saw this casual blazzer that i was looking for. There was discount, after discount would be about RM230 but since my hunt end there, might as well i get it as a souvenir for myself. Guess i need to reward myself at times and i am happy again.
