TGI Friday !!!

Without really realizing it, today is Friday again. Weekend has come and this week I will be having a long weekend as next week I would be working on shift where I would be working from Thursday until Sunday and so forth for the next two week also. Why two weeks? Cause not enough people to cover for the shift; hence I need to work another month. Tried my best to avoid working on Christmas day to attend the custom Christmas dinner that I have been attending for the past few years. Would not want to break the tradition and make someone unhappy…

Since having long weekend, need to think of something to do to occupy the time, but seriously I really need to get well from the flu that I had the other day. I can still feel it still around me pretty much, not fully recover yet and I don’t want to bring that to the following week, it will be so sucking to bring that on and living with that flu in me.

Okay for now, need to get back to work soon. Guys, gals have a great Friday and relaxing weekend. See you guys and gals this Saturday…

Getting better, but not fully

These 2 days have been better, but still seems to be weak. Need to get more rest for the coming month as i will be working on shift again, this time round would be the weekend shift, where i would have the total opposite of the life my friends are having. Weekend for me would only be valid after 7.00pm...

Soon will be heading to the Petronas tower in a while. Why? To work and to skip the fire drill today :)

My sick day...

Today woke up with a fever and also feeling rather chill. Then decided not to go, to get more rest at home. If i do not get better, means i will have a lousy weekday or the coming weekend. Went to see the doctor, currently not having fever, just with a slight sore throat. Doctor gave me the medicine, hope to get better as soon as possible in order for me to go to work tomorrow...

Weekend is about to end...

Not much happened this weekend, mostly of my time was to catch up on time with my friend. Check out the happening with my friend, went to St. John DIM which I have missed for some time already and also to rest my body.

Why rest? Cause I had a challenging weekday which is to obtain the qualification for the BOSIET, Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training @ the MAS Academy (Kelana Jaya) organized by SEQU. It was not very hard, but rather challenging as it has been sometime since I had such workout. Been pretty much lazy lately.

Below would be the certificate and the ID card that I have obtained:

PB250108

PB250104

With the cert and card, I can start flying on helicopter and also goes out to the rigs :)

But guess I caught a cold while I was in the water for about 3 hours I guess. Sigh, the water was cold and the worst part of all would be where I need to come on the pool side and into the pool for several rounds, guess that is where the cold came from. Now, I am having slight fever, feeling hot and cold from time to time. Sigh, hate getting sick, would affect my weekday and also my mood. Sigh. Hope all the best for tomorrow, as tomorrow will be, Monday...the symptom of Monday Blue...

Everyone, have a good week ahead :D

Meeting @ Starbucks

Currently at Starbucks having my St. John Ambulance Malaysia, DIM meeting. It was because the headquarters is under heavy and ongoing renovation works where it would not be convenient to have the meeting there as usual.

Coffee is on my boss treat :D Hope it end soon, have the time and then to trim my hair since it is getting longer by day. Hope to have a nice day today so that my mood for the upcoming week will be cheerful and looking forward for the week :)

~ My First Adopted Kid ~

World Vision program in Malaysia, i took part in it already with my friend. Sponsored a kid from Mongolia in order to improve his quality of life. The kid that we have sponsored is the kid in the photo below:

His details are as the picture below:

The question related to him is as the image below:

Seems he is just 10 years old kid only and he is quite adorable. We are looking forward to write to him and also to get know to him more. Hope to have more updates in my next blog regarding him, maybe soon...

Just RM50 per month could help out the kid, it would be for worthy cause, that all that matters.

Weekend over, weekday coming...

Weekend has come and on the way out as weekday steps in... Weekend started from Friday as i was working on shift last week... Gosh, been 2 weeks working on weekday shift already, seems so fast yet felt so long, perhaps i was not good at my task yet, lots more to learn, anyway the learning will never just stop or halt in life...

A lot have happened for the past few days, but i was too tired and busy to blog it out, perhaps will find a day or two later to blog it out. I find it interesting and something worth blogging. But however, my weekend was mostly in preparing the presentation slides for the coming Monday, the presentation day. Gosh, i am new and working my best to present those modules out, hope i will do my very best... Now let me get back to my preparation, finishing up the presentation slides as soon as possible so that i can rest early today and also prepare for better presentation tomorrow.

All the best for the tired me...

Guess i really do miss my previous month that i had in Shell IT~

Today, while driving to work (Halliburton), i was subconciously heading towards the MidValley road which would then normally head to Cheras or to Cyberjaya. Gosh, luckily i realize it in time where i turn the wheel to head towards the museum to head to KLCC.

Miss all my friends or kaki(s) in SITI which includes mogok kaki (me, sarah, khairul), borak kaki (me, sarah, khairul, Aqmar, Aida, WanLeng, ChinDy, ChengSze), Foosball kaki (me, KongSiang, Nicholas, SeawWei, WanLeng, Sarah, KhaiChen), main-main kaki (me, Aida, Aqmar, Sarah, Richard, CheeWei, KahFei and etc) and all others in SITI.

~Miss you guys~

Hope to meet up with you guys this coming Friday for lunch. See you guys.

Weekend has passed...

Had off day since last Friday until Sunday, consider long but for the working class to have leave, it will never be too long or to say enough. My Friday was more to resting and also movie day. Watch quite a number of movies at home and also caught a movie at MidValley, Bee Movie. Thought it would be quite stupid movie, but it turns out to be not bad and also kinda hilarious too.

Saturday was a relaxing day as well. Morning planned to go swimming at the sports complex, but the heavy downpour cancel it and i had more time to laze on my bed as that was my backup plan. Haha... Then my next outing was in the night, at about 10.30 to meet up at Winnie's place. It was a dry swim session, guess missed the wet swim, might as well go for the dry swim. Haha... Most was welcomed and invited but only 7 turned up. Those were Winnie, Chin Yong, Wing Koh, Kien Yap, Kee Hon, Eevern and me. Some were not able to make it such as Sarah where she was away for a wedding dinner of her cousin sister. Anyway, KeeHon and EeVern parted early as they need to get more rest for their next day trip to Cameron Highland and also she was not feeling that well. So left the five of us to last the whole night or morning. We played until 4 plus in the morning and headed home after that. We turned down the offer for McD breakfast as all was tired, decided to have it sometime later then. Rushed back to my house, it was about 4.30am already. Then took my shower, then watch a show before lying down to rest myself.

Woke up at about 11.45am on Sunday to have lunch with my parents before i head out to Cheras to meet up with my friends. Went for dinner and then back home at about 9 plus at night, later slept at about midnight after talking on the phone with few friends. That was my weekend, and now it is Monday again where i reached my office before 7am and missed my weekend already.

November, going December...

Seems like time past so fast lately. Without much noticing, it is already November now year end and the last month will be revealing very soon. Gosh, seems like lighting for this year, can't seem to be able to recall from January until now, November. Guess when we grow up, time past much faster than how we have wanted it to be when we were younger. Now, instead of time to past faster, we hope time could hold back and wait for us. How ironic we humans could be at time.

No point talking about what has past and oping how much more we should have achieved or should have done those things we forgot or overlooked, guess now would be the best time to look forward to the remaining time before year 2008 prevails in about 50 days more days to go.

What i would want to do for the remaining 50 more days for year 2007?
- Christmas gathering with friends...
- Short vacation...
- Wall Climbing?
- Meet some of my old friends, to catch up on life... Min 5 maybe?
- A steamboat session with my family...
- A barbeque with my pals maybe?
- Mahjong Marathon perhaps?
- Get myself a present, E-510?
- many many more...

Tabung Haji rapped for using non-bumi company

KUALA LUMPUR: Umno Youth executive council member Datuk Azimi Daim hit out at Tabung Haji for engaging a non-bumiputra company to supply mineral water for free to delegates and guests at the Umno general assembly.

Azimi queried the rationale for engaging a non-bumi company when all the investors in Tabung Haji are Muslims.

“Don’t tell me there is no single Malay company that is capable of sourcing mineral water. Even I can dig a well, and collect mineral water,” he said when debating the Umno president's policy speech on Wednesday.

Azimi pointed out that Tabung Haji’s move to engage a non-bumiputra company to supply easily available product like water, was not in line with party president Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi’s call to GLCs to jointly shoulder the responsibility to develop the bumiputra commercial and industrial community.

Azimi also hit out at a broadcasting station for interviewing non-Malays who proposed guidelines for Umno speakers.

“We have never set any guidelines when others hold their party general assembly. The duty of Pemuda, Wanita, and Puteri is to use the assembly as a platform to highlight grassroots sentiments. We cannot keep mum,” he said.

** I read this news, was surprise that they went to all extend to put it on the local newspaper. Why? To share with all people how they were not able to get water for their people for the meet up? Hmm, not a clever move to slap own's face ourselves. So, this is clever move? Beats me, i drink from the tap, not well :)

What a day, forgot my pass?

Sigh, reached office on time today, parked my car at the parking lot, wanted to collect all my stuff and head to office, then i realize that i forgot to fetch my employee pass when i left my house for work. Sigh, don't think i can do without it, so i went actually rushed back to my house to fetch it. I got my aunt to pass the pass to me at the Putra LRT station rather than for me to travel all the way back to my house.

Not my day i guess...Stupid me to left it back there when i should have kept it close to me all the time. Sigh. Most probably due to my bad hair day, can't seem to get it to the shape that i expected hence took more time than usual. Sigh...sigh...

New Life, New Job

Last Thursday (1 Nov 2007), started my new path in life where i stated my first day job at Halliburton Energy Services. As usual, first day shall be an excitement as well as worried. Excitement to know of the new environment and also to blend in more quickly into their environment. Worried if we can successfully blend in and to foster the relationship between colleagues. Also the feelings that i have were to part with the old life of Shell which i have accustom to for the past 1 year. Their friendship was more that what i have expected from them, these are some things money can't buy.

First day in HES was a bit boring, as i was looking through some of their online training and also to get know a bit more to the job scope and etc. Seems i would have much more to learn which relates to the Oil & Gas industry. Second day, boss gave me one whole list of chapters or knowledge that i should cover in order to gain the required knowledge in my field of work. Didn't really get to mingle around with my colleagues yet as most of them is still away and some was in in the first day that i came to work. Haha, lunched alone for the first and second day at their cafeteria. Had Rubber band (yee mee) noodle for the first day and the mixed rice for the second day. Not really that nice, but i somehow manage to get it down.

I still feel not up to my tip top health yet lately, perhaps because of the busy lifestyle and also now as i am changing environment for my workplace where changes to my daily routine is not avoidable also. Now i have to wake up early, as early as 6.45am to prepare for work and start my travel at about 7 to reach office by 8am. Later when i am working on shift, practically next week, i have to reach office by 7am. Need to adjust to my sleep time and also my work time.

Had a busy weekend, went out with my bunch of friends such as KCY, LKH, Sarah, Winnie... Needed some time to catch up on our life lately. Went to have Sushi King, it was CY's second or third time there, recommended some of the food there for him, promoted Wasabi to him also. Haha... Later went to buy DVD before picking up Kee Hon from Yulek where Sarah headed home first. After picking up KH, would then proceed to Winnie's place to pick up my car and my stuff before i head home. At the junction of the roundabout, a Trinton bumped into CY's car as he was listening to his hand phone, but at least he is going to make it up to his mistake and promised to pay back the repair money, it not really that serious just a scar at the rear bumper, but for that to happen to a 3 month old car, its a scar to the heart. Forget to say, CY's driving skill would have pretty much space for improvements.

Now i am sitting in Winnie's house, awaiting for the other people to arrive, late by half an hour. Hope they will come soon...
