As i volounteer myself to be one of the volounteers for the Reception for my office Annual Dinner at KLCC Convention Center (21-07-07), i have to be there early as requested. We, the volounteers were supposed to be there by 5pm for a quick rehearsal before the real thing starts.
I picked up Sarah from her house as usual and headed down to the KLCC Convention Center. Not sure where the parking for the Convention Center exactly, hence i called up EeVern to ask for directions. Manage to reach the place on time, despite the uncooperative weather. Parked at a nice spot, considered a nice spot but things may be so dissapointing eventually. Will tell more later in this entry. Opps, forget to mention that i parked my car at about 15 minutes to 5pm.
Since we were early, we sat in the car and had some chat while listening to some music. Didn't want to go in too early and start doing things before the time comes. I sms to Sok Chin to ask if she had reach the venue, 15 minutes were her answer.
When the clock turns 5pm, we decided to proceed to the venue, where at the Ballroom 1 and 2. Once i jump into the lift, i was lifted up to the 3rd floor, where the ballroom were. Impressive i could say. Snap some photos here and there, she and he and etc. Will show more photos later as some of the photos is still being edited for better view.
It was an enjoyable event, had a great time. Also had the opprotunity to see most people to wear smart and not the same old faithful t-shirt and jeans as how we see them at most of the time. Had the last opportunity to snap some photos with some of the interns that we have throughtout the past 8 months. It was sweet having them here, despite some attitude problems. Regardless of that, they are okay i guess.
After the dinner, saw some auctioning of painting for a good cause. Ended the day with a comedian show for our laughter. About the lucky draw, i was not that lucky on that night, guess i was lucky already :)
After leaving the ballroom, proceed outside to shoot a lot more photos with our team members. Will share out soon. Then departed the Convention Center after paying RM17 for the carpark for the lousy place that they have. They were maintaining the fire sprinkler system and somehow some weird thing or substance drip to my back windscreen and created a patch on it. Gosh. Send Sarah home and then i went for a car wash to get rid of the spot on my back mirror. Car wash at that time? Who was going to do it if not myself? Haha. After an hour of intense scrubbing, manage to get 99% of it away, jsut 1% which were so stuborn that i decided to give up as it is turning late already and i need to wake up early tomorrow for my outdoor activity which need me to have sufficient rest.
