Flora Fest @ Putrajaya 2009

Had the chance to go shooting at this event on Sunday, reached there at about 9am. We walked about the garden for few hours, stop for a pit stop, then proceed to shoot even more photos and end the trip at about 1pm plus. After that, we proceed back to Sri Petaling where CL's house is and the 4 of us downloaded the photos and review it and convert, also to perform some minor editing using the PhotoShop. The whole album has not completed yet, hopefully can complete it by today and then can upload all for viewing :) Stay tuned for my updates :D

Short but nice Langkawi Trip 2009

Had took some time off work to spend my weekend at Langkawi from 24 - 27 July 09. The main purpose is for relaxing, alcohol drinks and also photoshooting while eating around Langkawi. Had the chance to eat nice food and meet some nice people, great trip along with our photography gears. Both myself and Sarah is learning up some new techniques and our gears more as we spend more time on photography. Manage to take few shots here and there... some of the photos that we took are at the following location for viewing :-)

Terence & Hui Nee's Wedding Luncheon

Attended Terence and Hui Nee's wedding luncheon at Noble Banquet. Congratulations to them on this great event of their life! I had the opportunity to use my E-3 on that day, probably get a tip or two from some mentors there for wedding shooting. Below is the slideshow of the photos that i took the other day:

Busy, tiring yet lazy days...

Been some time since my last post, been about 3 months already. What have i been up to? Most of my time, workign my ass throughout the weekdays and weekends. What do i get? Nothing, what a DAMN!!!

What are my plans ahead? To enjoy more of my life and make the full out of it. Those plans up my sleeve are of course vacation, outings, photo shooting and etc...

Hope all these can come true soon...

Winnie's Registration of Marriage (ROM)

Attend Winnie's ROM previous weekend at Thien Hou Temple on 27 June 09. Went and did some shots even i was late. I was not technically late, just that they started the ROM without us where they started earlier than the time slot given. Sigh, missed it due to the poor management of the people there...

Enjoy the pics :)

Winnie and Nick, Congratulations!!!

Good old days in the new era?

Monday start with outstanding work from the previous night, so end up i had to take lrt to work as the clock shows 7.30am when i left my house since driving to work is equivalent to suicide.

It took me like about 15 minutes before i made my way into the lrt and then travelled to KL Sentral. Upon reaching KL Sentral and the following station, a LRT coordinator stepped in and 'announced' "masuk masuk, tengah tengah ada tempat lagi!". I felt like back to the old days of Mini Bus in KL. The only difference is that the coordinator added the word 'terima kasih' to the end of his statement. Only that, other than that is the exact same as the good old days.

Hot but laid back weekend...

Its a hot weather weekend, with so little rain in average and even night temperature is also high which cause me hard to sleep as well, even in air-cond room. Probably in heat? Hahaha... Anyway, had the chance to had 2 meals of Thai meals this weekend, the first one was at the normal place that we had, where me, Sarah and Amanda went for it since their parents went out. We had the good dishes; tom yum in coconut, fried paku vege, fried sotong and braised pig knuckle and the total cost was about RM77, Sarah paid for the meal, thanks for the meal. Then we drove to Little Korea @ Ampang and bought some nice breads and ice-cream for dessert. Since we are already in Ampang and Amanda never been to Look Out Point, so we decided to drive there and we walked up the Look Out Point to see the night scenery. Actual reason were to help in digestion of the amout of food intake that we had for dinner. The weather was pretty stunning, allowing us to have a good night view of KL/Ampang. The sad part was that i didn't bring my E-3 with me, too bad. Perhaps next week or the following week if i am in town, perhaps...

Next day, Sunday we had Thai for lunch as well. The location is near to Ampang Look Out Point where we went yesterday. Sarah's dad informed that the dishes there are nice and fairly cheap as compared to outside restaurant. So we drove up there (the 4 of us, Sarah, Amanda, uncle and me) as aunty was helping out in the HOSPIS charity sale. the photos of the dishes that we ordered is as below:

Total bill for the food plus with chinese tea + ice is about RM79.50 for 4 person. What do you think? Cheap? I think so, and along with the environment, i would say its fairly new to most KL folks. Took the opportunity to have some shots nearby, below is the slide show of the shots that i have taken, enjoy it!

It was indeed a nice weekend, a slow one as i had minimal time to spend on work related stuff and most of the time was spend on myself. This is something good for me, after the week long of unfinished work. Now, i am just hoping next week i would be able to have my weekend and do not need to travel offshore for rig up as next week would be the weekend for Labour Day, long weekend and my parents would be going for a family outing at PD. Hope i won't be missing it eventually due to work again. Really need to have more balance in life and work. Life is short, need to make the best out of the years that we have...

Work, Life, Family, Friends, ...

All those in life that matters to you or each one of us. Sometimes life just don't go according to what you want it to be, however, sometimes life can be a little bit more leniant on us. I was hoping badly that i can be in town this weekend, as i would like to attend one charity bazaar or sale, by giving a helping hand and play a role. However, due to work issues, i might not be able to go but today it was finalised that this week i would be in town, however this very day is also the day where by i was told that i might need to go offshore the next weekend. Meaning skipping my trip with family and also celebrating Labour's Day offshore working. What a way to celebrate Hari Kuli :-( Not much choice i guess, that is work...

Now i am just hoping things can be better by me need not head offshore, hoping that my colleague can make it back in time for the rig up, lets hope that this is true i pray. Till then, will be hoping and praying :-)
