Not feeling well again

Sigh... Today i am resuming my work after resting for about 5 days. Through out the 5 days, i have been resting in my house as i was still having cold from the previous week. As for this week, i will be working for the weekend shift from Thursday (today) until Sunday before i would be able to have 3 days of off day.

These day the weather is quite bad and unpredictable with sudden change of climate and etc. Sigh, now getting cold i guess, need to rest more later in order to recover soon or as soon as possible so that i would not have a dreadful working week for now.

Someone will be leaving Malaysia soon, into a distance country for few week while working there for the time being. As for me, will not be able to see the person for some time. Hope things goes well for her there as it would be her first time traveling abroad for work related.

CNY 2008 - House Visiting

Yesterday was the 10th day of CNY for the year 2008. We decided to have a house to house visit for the group of us as old time friends. In the morning, me and sarah went to the Thien Hou Temple to pray and also to snap a few shots. Then later proceed to Sun Ming @ Tmn Connaught to have lunch, duck rice before meeting up with Winnie and the rest at her house.

As usual, Chin Yong was late and hence we only able to depart from Winnie's house at about 2.30pm, nearing to 3pm. First we went to Kien Yap's house. Her mum was there, lots of chatting. Then later proceed to EeVern's house for a while, later only drove two roads down to reach Kee Hon's house where we start visiting his new house and then start with our mahjong session in his house.

Later we proceed to dinner and then later i send Sarah back to her house before i proceed to Win Khong's house for session 2 of the mahjong. At last we proceed home after about 1am in the morning.

The photos that i took for the whole day is as below:

T6 rig photos...

These would be the slideshow of the photos that i took while i was on the T6 rig early of this month.

Lucky got the two guys that was hanging out with me while i was on the rig, else it could be even more boring :)

I am the witness

This was posted by one of my friend online and therefore i have read it and became the witness to this therefore i shall be doing my job by admitting that i witness this and published on my blog site. The story as below.

So sweet. Hereby, i wish the both of them, to be together happily ever after :)

Today is Valentines Day?

Today, 14 February 2008 would be also called as the Valentines Day, where it is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other by sending Valentine's cards, presenting flowers, or offering confectionery.

Yesterday when i was in Leisure Mall, i saw the flower shop was busy preparing for the night where they would be selling those flowers from yesterday night up to tonight. When i walked along the corridor for the Leisure Mall heading towards the car park, never smelt so much of flower smell before :)

Then when i was travelling back to home yesterday night past midnight, i saw a lot of people were selling those flowers along the Bangsar area. This is the normal tradition every year and seems this year might be a good sales for them.

Then when i turn up for work this morning, i went to the pantry and heard some chit chats here and there. Some were saying "Its Valentines Day, so wear more pretty than usual", some were commenting "I asked my husband what's the plan for this Thursday, all he asked was what so special about Thursday and the conversation ended there" and some were highlighting the differences between man before marriage and after marriage, it was mainly about what the man would do before marriage on Valentines Day and what the man would normally tend to forget after getting married :) With all these chats, i was a little excited to blog it. Haha... Why only Valentines only want to make the day special by going out? How nice if the wife or girl friend would be able to cook for their loved ones, where they can spend some time together, rather than to pre-book for tables weeks before the actual day or lining up for hours for a small table for two or even bad service at restaurant, delayed food serving time and food quality and best of all, over paid food. Does not mean that the female must cook for the male, it always could be the other way round. One of my guy friend, he knows how to cook, much better than his gf, so he does cook for her once in a while, he also cook for us (one bunch of friends) also, especially his crab dish :) Opps, providing too much of information is not good.

As for me, not sure how my Valentines Day going to be, it might be a little special this year :) Might end up giving tuition to some one needy :) More details later :)

Last Day of Articulus Workshop & Valentines Day on the way

Today would be the last day of the mentioned workshop. Hope it would be ending on time today and then i could have a little time to finish of some of my stuff which is still in pending for action. But anyway, did enjoy the workshop to a certain extend as it was quite interesting, but of course if the group of people were to be more open minded than being shallow, it would have been much better. Not complaining, just highlighting :)

Today would be the seventh day of the CNY, don't feel much at all as most of the people is busy with work and etc, unlike last time. I am looking forward to this coming weekend as i would be able to continue with my CNY celebration. Would want to do some house visiting and also to meet up with my friends and etc, also to have dinner with my family on this coming Sunday.

That was all about weekend, but tomorrow would be a special day for all those in love out there, be it for the youngster or those elder folks as tomorrow would be the Valentines Day, celebrate worldwide. My wishes for those with their pairs, wish them happy and loving always as for those without their pair yet, don't give up looking and you would find yours soon :)

Read more about origin of Valentines Day from here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valentine's_Day.

Something that i found it to be interesting from the site would be:

In Asia

Thanks to a concentrated marketing effort, Valentine's Day has emerged in Japan and Korea as a day on which women, and less commonly men, give candy, chocolate or flowers. It has become an obligation for many women to give chocolates to all male co-workers. In Japan this is known as giri-choko (義理チョコ), from the words giri ("obligation") and choko, ("chocolate"). This contrasts with honmei-choko (本命チョコ); chocolate given to a loved one. Friends, especially girls, may exchange chocolate referred to as tomo-choko (友チョコ); from tomo meaning "friend".

By a further marketing effort, a reciprocal day called White Day has emerged. On March 14, men are expected to return the favour to those who gave them chocolates on Valentine's Day. Originally, the return gift was supposed to be white chocolate or marshmallows; hence "White Day". However, lingerie and jewelry have become common gifts.

In South Korea, there is also Pepero Day, celebrated on November 11, when young couples give each other romantic gifts. There is an additional day for single people, Black Day, celebrated on April 14.

In Chinese culture, there is a counterpart to Valentine's Day, called "The Night of Sevens" (七夕); according to legend the Cowherd and the Weaver Maid meet in Heaven on the 7th day of the 7th month of the lunar calendar. A slightly different version of this day is celebrated in Japan as Tanabata, on July 7th of the solar calendar.

Okay, that's all for now as i would be attending the workshop soon. To all, have a nice day ahead...

It's Tuesday...

Today i was a little lazy on the bed. Kind of reluctant to get out of my bed, perhaps yesterday i slept a little late that's why not well rested yet. Anyway, i got not much choice as i need to go to work, possible of reaching office by about 7.30am to settle my other stuff before i head in for the Articulus Training. I would write more on this training later when i am through with it.

This morning i had a slow drive out from my house as i was early and not in a hurry or running late. But when i hit town, stress begin to build up as there was quite a number of vehicle lining up. Sigh, but this is the reality for living in the town area or working in the town area.

Reach the normal car park space and then walk towards the pedestrian bridge to cross the Jln Tun Razak. While walking, i saw this kid in school uniform and his age was about 8 or 9 carrying a big bulky bag. I am not sure where he is walking to as he was walking along Jln Tun Razak and i do not recall any school nearby, which means he might be walking quite a long distance and at the same time he was walking unsupervised. Didn't the parents was well informed about all those kidnapping stories and etc? Gosh, call them parents and they don't even know how to take care of them. At the same time, the kid is walking to school as i presume but the time was already 7.30am. I thought school start a little past 7? So where is he heading to? I really don't know as i have to part with him to cross the bridge, just hope he is okay and reach safely to where ever he needs to go, be it school or home.

LAter will be attending the workshop, so bye for now.

Tomorrow is another working day

Today would be the forth day of CNY, tomorrow would be the fifth day. I would be working, along with most of the Chinese community in Malaysia. Seems or felt like this year's CNY celebration is rather short. As for me, i felt that the time past quite very fast and without ever me noticing it, it is already the night of the celebration day. I can still recall the new year's eve where i am busy doing the preparation, now i am going to work the next day. Sigh, time past so fast when we get elder.

Today i was at the farewell dinner for one of my friend, Kuan Ming. He will be traveling to Australia, Brisbane to further his study there for about 1 year to 1.5 years. Got the news that he is leaving for sometime back already, but it was still far away when the news broke, now it would be by tomorrow at about 9.30am, he would be on the plane heading for Australia. So fast, yet so much to say to him. He has been a great friend and always a helpful one when approached. He might have his attitude or his way of reacting to some request or stuff, but he always give his best in everything he does. Will feel the lost then, especially he has been helping me on the new camera that i have got and some of the advice i got from him. Thank you Kuan Ming. Wish you all the best in your studies in Australia and looking forward to see you soon back in Malaysia, either end of this year or early next year. Do keep in touch and take care and i bet i would be able to see you online over there in Australia.

Upon returning to work, i would be attending a 3 days course on Articulus Workshop. I only had a general idea of what Articulus means, looking forward for tomorrow and also this week to end so that i can resume my celebration for CNY. Okay for now, i need to get some sleep and then be fresh for tomorrow. Happy CNY again to all, and may all have a pleasant year of RAT for this year.

P/s: Still in the process of getting the dinner photos from Kuan Ming and will publish here soon.
